Rosemary is a Mediterranean shrub whose small, woody leaves are commonly used in cooking and perfume. It has a distinct pungent scent reminiscent of pine; it is commonly used as seasoning for a variety of dishes, such as soups and meats and dressings. It should be stored in the refrigerator in a covered container (e.g. zip-lock bag)
